In her own words
The Creator

I'm a Liverpool actor, singer and writer, shaped by a city I love deeply and by my Jamaican heritage, where music, storytelling, humour and community have always been part of who I am.
Liverpool has given me my voice. It's a city of contradictions, rebellious, creative, funny and culturally abundant. Growing up here, I learned that some of the most powerful stories aren't found in extraordinary places, they're happening in ordinary homes, families and communities every day.
Much of my creative life has also been shaped by strong women. A Cockney mother whose creativity had no boundaries and who saw the beauty in everything. The formidable women who created and led the choir showed me what female leadership could look like. Ambitious, fearless and rooted in lifting other people were the role models that blessed my life. Their influence reaches far beyond music, their belief in people has had a profound impact on the woman and artist I have become.
My Jamaican and British culture, my Liverpool roots, inform the way I see the world and the stories I choose to tell.
I know where I come from.
I know whose shoulders I stand on. And I know why Choir's Song needs to be put into the world.
